OSCIA Annual Conference
OSCIA holds an Annual Conference every February. The Annual Conference is where you can learn more about what OSCIA has been up to for the past year, participate in panel discussions, listen to engaging speakers and presentations, meet our Board and network with delegates from across the province on innovative farming practices, projects and more. Delegates are provided the opportunity to present field projects which investigate and validate innovative soil and crop management, and on-farm field demonstrations.
Keynote speakers include agricultural industry leaders and representatives from a wide range of commodity groups, presenting engaging topics that impact Ontario agriculture.
At the Annual Conference, we also announce the results from our annual Board of Directors election. Our leadership team (Board and senior managers) attend and provide reports and audited financial statements from the previous fiscal year to let members know how the Association is doing.

When is the Next OSCIA AGM?
The next AGM will be held at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn, located in London, Ontario on February 7-8, 2017. We give notice to our membership in advance of the meeting by posting the time, date and location details here on our website. Any member can attend, and any Official Delegate representing our county/districts are eligible to vote.
If you would like to move a resolution at the meeting, you will need to fill out a resolution form. Official Delegates from Local Associations will be expected to describe, at the meeting, the background and reasoning behind any resolution their Association brings forward.
OSCIA Summer Meeting
OSCIA holds a Summer Meeting every August. The summer meeting travels to a different part of the province each year, by visiting the region of the 1st Vice President of that year. The summer meeting is generally three days, and begins on a Sunday. It is an opportunity for the Past Presidents, spouses and special guests to visit the 1st Vice Presidents home region, meet with our current Board of Directors and network over delightful meals and informative tours.
This event is open to Past Presidents, Board of Directors, and special guests, all of whom we give notice to in advance of the meeting.

This years Summer Meeting was be held in Massey, Ontario from Sunday, August 14, 2016 until Tuesday, August 16, 2016.
