Agriculture Skills Development
Farm businesses that identify a need for training or skills development in their Action Plan may apply for this component. It provides funding for you, family members, employees or company representatives to participate in training activities like courses, workshops, conferences or one-to-one training to improve your farm business. There is also an option to help farm business representative develop leadership and governance skills.
Cost-share funding is available for:
Out-of-province or out-of-country training may be eligible if the same training is not available within Ontario. If OSCIA approves the training, the farm business can receive cost-share funding for only one representative to attend the training activity.
