Relevant BMP Practice Codes: 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604, 1605, and 1606 Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a BMP that can reduce the volume of chemicals used and minimizes potential adverse effects of pesticide use in crop production. A 30% (to max. of $5,000) cost-share incentive is available to qualified participants to adopt equipment and technologies that restrict spray drift, sample and monitor insect thresholds and encourage less risky sprayer filling locations.
