Species at Risk
The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources will provide financial assistance to farmers across Ontario through the Species at Risk Farm Incentive Program (SARFIP), developed with federal and provincial governments and farm organizations to provide up to 100 per cent of the cost for farmers to establish BMPs from the list of SARFIP-eligible projects. Each one of the eligible BMP categories contributes to enhancing habitat and biodiversity.
Brochure:
Brief description of SARFIP and a list of eligible Best Management Practices (BMP) categories and funding caps for each category. Information on program eligibility and the application process is also included. Producers interested in participating may contact their local
OSCIA Program Representative
.
More information on the Species at Risk may be found on the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources Site at
