Growing Forward 2 (GF2) is a five-year federal-provincial-territorial initiative designed to encourage innovation, competitiveness and market development in Canada’s agri-food and agri-products sector through cost-share funding opportunities.

Application intakes for funding assistance are now closed.

*GF2 projects must be completed by December 15, 2017 with all claims (including all required paid invoices and proofs of payment) submitted by January 15, 2018.

Webinars – How to complete an application

Participate in an information webinar to learn about the Growing Forward 2 Funding Assistance for Producers Program.
These webinars will provide an opportunity to learn about completing an online application using the GF2 Client Portal. Whether you wish to apply online or in person, these sessions will help provide guidance to ensure your application is complete.
To participate in a webinar, you need an internet connection as well as a telephone line. You must register for webinars as there are a limited number of participants per session.

Need an Extension?

For claim deadlines associated with the first and second intakes of the 2016/2017 program year, if for any reason you are unable to make your claim deadline, please contact or 1.800.265.9751 to request an extension.

Extensions for the first and second intakes of the 2016/2017 program year may be granted up to March 31 of the given program year.
