How to apply for SARFIP 2017

SARFIP projects can be completed between April 1, 2017 and December 15, 2017; invoices for projects costs must also be dated within this timeline.
Please read the SARFIP 2017 Brochure before preparing your SARFIP application. 

Steps to Apply

1 Ensure your farm meets the eligibility criteria (page 2 of SARFIP 2017 brochure)
2 Enroll your farm business with OSCIA (unless you have already enrolled through participation in SARFIP or another OSCIA cost-share program within the last 3 years)
3 Identify the Best Management Practice (BMP) category that you wish to apply to (e.g. 3.1 Wetland Restoration)
4 Complete the SARFIP Application Form for the BMP category you wish to apply to
5 Submit your completed SARFIP Application Form with any required documentation (e.g. a site sketch/map, letter of support, or project design/plan) to OSCIA via email, fax or mail
6 Lean back, and wait to hear from OSCIA!

OSCIA will notify applicants of their cost-share allocations in a timely manner once their complete SARFIP application is received. Applicants will be notified via email, unless otherwise noted. At this time, approved applicants can safely initiate projects knowing they will receive financial support if terms are followed.
