Conservation Agreements

Before funding can be released, approved GSP applicants are required to sign a Conservation Agreement with Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC). In the agreement, participants agree to maintain the funded BMPs for a period of 3 years (for BMPs 1 through 4) or the approved number of years (BMP 5). ECCC agrees that the requested funding has been set aside for the approved project(s). Once signed, the participant has committed to maintaining the completed BMPs as outlined on the application form.

Copies of the Conservation Agreement are available upon request. Please contact sarpal@ontariosoilcrop.org to request a copy.
