Welcome to the Georgian e-news which has been updated to coincide with the Sept Innovator release.  Response has been positive to this new online initiative.  We would love to hear what you think of the content on this Landing Page.  What would you like to see in the future?  Which member would you like to see in the spotlight?  Do you know of anyone who could share some of the innovative ideas that they are implementing?  This is your content, so please help us make it more valuable to you.

We hope that your harvest has been a productive and safe one thus far, and that it continues in that vein.  As we try to outrun the next storm, sometimes we throw caution to the wind.  We need to get the work done, so everything revs up a bit.  This is when farm accidents occur.  Please be careful!  Another thing that suffers as our workload intensifies during harvest, is our mental health.  Please read Paul Legge’s article in this issue and the Make self-care a priority article, for further information about looking after your mental health. Remember that your mental health is as important as your physical health.  You can’t do what you do on the farm if you are not running in peak form.  You change the oil in your tractor regularly, be sure to monitor that you are running well too.

We continue to find ourselves in unsettling times. Please take care of yourself and those around you. Reach out and connect with others. It is important! Stay safe and well.
