Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show is planning small scale in-person events on site in September 2021, in partnership with the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association (OSCIA). Producers are invited to attend the Crop Stop event September 23 and 24, for the opportunity to visit plots and talk to crop input and equipment suppliers in a small group setting. Eleven input companies have plots established and industry experts will be on hand to lead plot tours and talk about the latest in crop technology. Select equipment dealers will also have some new machinery on site, and Case IH will be launching a new product line at the show.

OSCIA has a long history of working with COFS, and is excited to be involved again this year. The new Mobile Soil Technology Suite (MSTS) will be showcased at the OSCIA exhibit to demonstrate various ways the unit could be used at local and regional events. With a large screen, on-board generator, sound system, cameras, and much more, the MSTS will be available for rent by Soil and Crop groups interested in planning activities across the province. Doug Wagner, President of COFS, is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to host growers at the show again. Gates will open at 9:30 a.m., and small groups will do a “shot-gun start” touring plots at 10 a.m. in a rotating fashion, with more groups being added as the day progresses and more visitors arrive at the show site. Food and beverages will be available for purchase both days.

Pre-registration is required, and OSCIA members are eligible for a 50% discount on show tickets by using this link:
