October 2021 has been one of the most complicated harvest months in my farming recollection.  I’m not sure there were more than two good soybean harvest days in a row. However, I’m not going to argue with the yields that are being experienced.  Those are very nice to see for sure!

I am so proud of all the county associations in our Georgian Central Region.  Our virtual crop tours were the talk of the province.  Each had their own flair with great local information and participation.  Thanks to Lorie Smith for all her work organizing each of the county associations. We all learned a lot about conducting a virtual meeting.  Thank you to all!

I would encourage local associations to continue to plan their virtual AGM’s.  Even though things are subsiding, we still need to be vigilant about dealing with Covid.

Good luck with the continuing harvest!

Very Best to all!
