What if the least productive parts of a farm could help boost the whole system? By restoring field edges and buffers with half an acre of native wildflowers, Living Lab -ON researchers and Farm Cooperators in Ontario are testing how fast pollinators and other beneficial insects return — and how they support nearby crops. By tracking insect and plant diversity before and after restoration, this video will reveal how these pollinator strips can help farmers and the environment thrive.
